COACH Kids of Clinton County announced on April 16, 2026, that the organization will sport a new logo going forward as a means to better showcase the true impact and mission of the organization.
COACH Kids was initially founded as Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Clinton County in 1979 before the organization rebranded in 2007 to officially become COACH Kids. From its inception, the organization has maintained a playful logo with three distinct colors–red, blue, and yellow. While the new logo strives to highlight numerous aspects of the organization that have been developed since the initial rebranding, the history will forever be preserved in those three distinct primary colors.
The new logo is filled with symbolism where even the smallest pixel has a meaning. Within the new logo are references to the impact of mentoring, which COACH Kids was built to inspire within the community.
Community members will immediately see two figures at the center, an adult imparting wisdom and encouragement onto a younger member of the community, which is the central goal of the mentoring programs at COACH Kids. The speech bubbles above the two figures symbolize the conversations held between the two. Whether those be fun stories, words of wisdom, jokes, or words of encouragement, those conversations are the key to ensuring every child feels seen, cared for, and empowered.
COACH Kids of Clinton County has become well-known for its Local Heroes program, which matches high school or adult mentors with elementary and middle school youth within the school setting to inspire a relationship that leads to improved school performance, attendance, behavior, concentration, and more. However, every mentor, volunteer, and donor stands as a hero for our local youth, which is represented by the cape the adult is sporting within the new logo.
The symbolism transcends just the aspects that are explicitly outlined within the logo as community members draw meaning based upon their own experiences with mentorship. For many, the stars may represent opportunities that were sparked through mentorship, the shield may represent the security that local youth feel when they are with their mentor, and the possibilities are endless from there.
While the logo marks the beginning of future developments for COACH Kids that will be announced in the future, it stands as a testament to COACH Kids’ mission of providing safe, meaningful mentor relationships for local Clinton County youth.
“I am very excited about our brand refresh,” COACH Kids Executive Director Casey Allen said. “While our logo has changed, our mission has not.”
